As a white male I can attest to the fact that racism is an epidemic among white males - the majority of which are posting hate here -
These white males are the ones who say they don't watch NBA - the many white golfers don't like Tiger Woods because he is black - the ones who go ballistic if a black version of Gretsky materialized in hockey.
They interpret the lack of ability in minorities as an example that they are inferior but ignore their own trust fund children flunking out of college, doing drugs and assuming being Caucasian with a degree from an ivy league school will make up for their lack of ability.
The poor are the pure.
Those who can manage to live with nothing have far more to live for than those who waste everything.

The Coffee Party Movement gives voice to Americans who want to see cooperation in government. We recognize that the federal government is not the enemy of the people, but the expression of our collective will, and that we must participate in the democratic process in order to address the challenges that we face as Americans. The cost of capitalism
Capitalism has no exit strategy. It is based on now - with now being the life span of the benefactors of capitalism.
Those who complain America spends too much - exempt the system that depends 100% on consumption for them to thrive with no adequate conservation, restoration or preservation of the essential ingredients that are being consumed.
What is worse is their is no plan for the future. Except for one - using money, body parts, science and most of all neglect - decimate the human population
Nature is the ONLY and primary resource for all life - and it is being consumed as though it is some infinite resource.
Within the context of the infinite universe in a zillionth of a blink of an eye since the industrial revolution the human race is destroying Earth.
Rather then harness technology to manage the human population and colonize other planets - those we put in charge depend on wars and disease and catastrophes to depopulate earth.
The deficit that is growing exponentially is far worse than America's financial deficit - it is the deficit of humanity.
What is lacking in the hearts, minds and souls of humans.
What I'm saying will be incomprehensible to most and frightening to those who recognize it is the truth.
THERE IS NO PLAN to save our atmosphere, our oceans and ourselves from devastation.
The human race is doomed. WSJ subscribers are a good example of why. Living in denial.
To the majority who live in denial - I say - what's your plan? Since your so concerned about your children and grand children. To replace nature in a laboratory that can't be built without nature???

Cheney distracts us from the truth. The republican way of thinking is in an old worn box - and we need the changes that our President wishes to start making.
This country can thank capitalism and capitalists like Cheney for all of it's problems. Consumption and short sightedness.
Capitalism = money = consumption leaves out one important and simple piece of logic - which I defy any human to refute.
Earth has limited natural resources to sustain life.
What's the exit strategy for the human species? To die and go to heaven?
There is coming a point where there are less and less forests and oceans and clean air and water to sustain civilization not to mention life itself - except for microorganisms.
The world is now visibly consuming itself while at the same time destroying nature - which is the sole provider for all life on earth. Suicide.
Meanwhile we argue about religion and oil and money - when we should be looking for some other planets to inhabit or try to save earth before it's too late.
Inevitably people who think like Cheney - live in a vacuum - and are rationalizing about a world that is irrational at a cosmic level.
He suggests that it's the survival of the fittest - however he fails to understand it is the hungriest who will first assume control before they in turn destroy each other. And there are far more hungry than fit.
When there there are no more fish or animals or fruits & vegetables to eat. We have only ourselves to feast upon. Symbolically we are practicing intellectual cannibalism at the present.
Those in power will find ways to reduce the demand of the planets population on resources.
By depopulating the planet. Katrina was an example of one of the techniques that will be used as a result of climate change.
Nuclear war is an instant depopulation methodology.
Anyway - do you think a 73 year old John McCain should influence the future of our planet - or for that matter a housewife from Wasilla, Alaska?
The new economics must factor in the need to restore nature and to colonize outer space.
